Thin Film Aluminum Oxide Sensors

Using a unique cylindrical shape, Kahn sensors provide not only the ruggedness of a three dimensional form, but the increased accuracy and stability of a full one square inch of active measurement surface. The sensor operates as a capacitor sensitive to subtle changes in water vapor pressure. Capacitance measurement indicates the precise moisture content of the gas. As with our ceramic sensor, all aluminum oxide sensors are very stable and are not harmed by contact with water. They are also fully interchangeable without the need for hygrometer recalibration.
